For an adult getting away I don’t plan on leaving the room much. So a nice clean, sizable room is more important than a particular location.

DCUM posters never seem to disappoint as I knew someone would eventually mention the Inn at Little Washington on this thread. Yawn…..zzzzz. So unoriginal. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way. The inn, service, and “Michelin star” food are so overrated and overpriced for what you get. Think out of the box.


I’ve been to the Inn twice (once we stayed there too) and it had dropped a lot in quality in the last ~ 5 years. I guess everything has. But it’s so pricey that I didn’t think it was worth it.

Tides Inn and +1 for Inn at Perry Cabin. More to do at the Tides, the Inn is more intimate and quiet.

I dont see it as an issue. I think that she is mostly stating that she would like her travel time limited if possible. It is only a weekend trip so it would suck to spend 6 hours traveling one way and then again back. With that being said, what about Florida?


Np. Enough with the vague original posts. Why make us guess. And then have an all over the place thread that hardly helps anyone

original posters can put two or three parameters that don’t even need to be inc omplete sentences and it helps a lot.

Comfort if you’re on a budget. Hampton Inn if you want to class it up in the ‘Dorf.
