Health is such a waste and I don’t agree with some of the curriculum so better to get it over in 6 weeks rather than a full year.

Dislike all the talk on drugs, suicide, depression etc..

In general, you’d need permission from administration to take other classes for original credit (not a retake), and it’s generally discouraged. You’d need a compelling reason. Most other classes are listed as “not for original credit.”


But why? So they can take all hard classes and have no break for electives?


No, quite the opposite. My kid takes health and tech over the summer in order to free up time for electives during the school year.

There’s plenty of room for electives without summer school.


My kid feels that there is so little room for electives and so many classes she would like to explore. If you take WL, you basically have one elective per year.
