At our pool if a frog is younger than 14 weeks, it has to pass a swim test to be allowed in the main pool without an adult.

I’ve lived in an urban area for decades now but I will never get over the attitudes towards wildlife here. Some of my neighbors are literally scared of deer and feel that trees should be cut down so that they don’t get sticks in their yard. It’s fascinating.
The water around here is nasty though. The wildlife in the water is a sign that the streams are healthy. I was wondering why there are no crawfish in the creeks around here. The streams where I grew up had them allover, we would go catch buckets of them.
If the stream doesn't have wildlife in it, I don't swim in it.

our pool puts airtags on frogs so we always know where they are
