For the ignorant MOMS: Don’t you know that a lot of career nannies have a BA and even MA?? A lot of them are former teachers that work as Nannies as hey get way better pay and benefits - obviously and very unlikely you wouldn’t be able to offer top pay and treat the nanny with dignity

Nannies have choices. The joke is on you. The experienced ones will never allow this. Why have a nanny if you secretly think so low oh them. Makes no sense. We know when our employers think they are superior and we will find another job right away.

So let’s say kids wake up at 6 am. They play for a bit in the playroom and then eat breakfast. Nanny shows up at 8 am. Do you honestly expect mom to pick up the playroom at 8 am in her business suit, before heading to work? And dad to move his AM meetings so he can clean up from breakfast since it occurred before nanny was “on the clock”? Is it really that big of a deal for a nanny to put some dishes in the dishwasher? Wtf.

You are trying to justify treating your nanny like a main because you're lazy. It doesn't matter if your kids are in school because you need her for sick days, holidays, snow days, etc.
How is PP lazy, exactly? Please enlighten us. Are we lazy if we aren’t scrubbing toilets at 11 PM after working a full day, followed by homework, bathtime, feeding kids dinner, and doing the laundry?
Working moms are, on the whole, probably the least lazy demographic out there.
You either scrub your toilet or HIRE A HOUSE CLEANING SERVICE. Nannies are not house cleaners. If you were asked to clean the toilets in your office you would have a fig.
