That’s different as you and the parents agreed. We are talking about a teen driving 2-5 other kids to sports things.

Which is why I said I was comfortable because I knew the driver but would be hesitant if I didn’t. I was in OPs situation and explained how I handled it, when it was coach suggested.

OP didn’t say if their kid was the driver or the passenger. If the driver, OP could say only x number of passengers. Or they could talk with some parents and have an approved list of who can be in the car. If the passenger, OP could dictate who their kid drives with.
