+1
She should bring her own food. She’s probably used to doing that by now.

No meat, dairy, or fruit. She has allergies to many things found in highly processed foods. Absolutely no citrus, no tomatoes, nothing vinegary like olives or pickles. No nuts, seeds, or dried seaweed. Absolutely not even a speck of chili powder.

Anyone have ideas? Thank you!

DP, but olives do not have to be “vinegary”. Many types are packed in oil or ferric chloride solution and not vinegar laden at all.

How about balls made of a lentil, bean or lentil based veggie burger recipe, served with some kind of dip (soy yougurt based maybe)?

White bean dip is very easily put together and you can use safe spices and oils to cater the flavouring.

Lentil tofu is really good and also easily made, if you want an alternative to regular tofu.

Lettuce wraps with crumbled tofu, or TVP if she can have that

Eggplant “meatballs” and a dip - the Mediterranean dish has some you can probably swap out the breadcrumbs for something else lower carb

Panisse or socca

Mini wraps made from coconut flour and eggs and filed with fresh vegetables

Maybe other middle eastern dips besides hummus work. I’m thinking baba ganoush made with roast eggplant, or the parsley one.

Roast eggplant is so delicious, but not exactly a “snack”

Avocado is a fruit, so off limits per the OP.

Well that's confusing because the OP also said no tomatoes which are also a fruit. So are we including

cucumbers
pumpin and squash
eggplant
sweet peppers
corn
green beans

in the fruit list?

Tofu or tempeh (plain) cut into strips and air fried

Roasted potatoes

Plain blanched green beans

Eggs are absolutely not dairy. They are sold in the dairy section as a convenience because it’s a refrigerated section and people often pick up milk and eggs together.

Dairy = items made from milk from a mammal. Chicken eggs are not milk, nor are chicken mammals.
