Yes. They're real. So many women never want to be the first to engage on these apps, but the apps are designed to give women all the power to initiate. Bumble has far less fake profiles and scammers than any of the other sites I've tried. Before they changed it to allow a man to comment on one of her photos, thus making the first move, I received very few messages from women making the first move. In nearly every case, the message was one or two words like, Hi. Women are n ot used making the first move so their business model is very flawed and they realized it. Now, you can even send a short voice message first letting her hear your voice so it has improved.

BTW, the worst dating site IMO is Plenty-of-Fish. Full of scammers they don't filter at all and a terrible user interface. They also have age restrictions on who you can contact or even see on the site. I think you can't go under 14 years if I remember correctly. ANd no matter what geographic limits you set, it still shows people from about NY to GA to OH.

Bumble was the worst of the apps for me as a man. Got no results from it vs the others

The thing about Bumble is that it's one business model. So I'd say that if women don't want to message first, it's them who should not join Bumble. Assuming you are a man, just let those profiles go and let the women use it as intended. Or move to another platform where you can message first without going to Instagram.

I do know a few successful couples who met there, and I am not sure but I have no reason to think the women in those didn't message first (they are not the type to be shy or coy or join if that's not their thing).

Bumble is tying itself in gordian knots on trying to figure out how not force women to make the opening move while enhancing engagement. That's why their stupid company is taking. It just devolves into making men hit them up on other social media sites, defeating the entire purpose of the platform.

Real woman here who met boyfriend on Bumble and said women who message to say go to OnlyFans are looking for clients.

Bumble was the only dating platform I was on. I tried others and hated the messages I got from men. I liked it because I didn’t have to wade through a ton of stupid messages.
