I’ve been in the PHP program at Pasadena Villa in McLean for about four weeks. I came in with suicidal ideation and high depression and anxiety. I now feel the best I have in years - maybe ever.
This is PP reviving the thread. Unfortunately I’ve had a relapse in depression and am looking into PHP programs. Does anyone know anything about the Suburban Hospital program? I am considering Pasadena Villa PHP again but Suburban is much closer. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
Had an adult family member who did in-patient at Suburban and didn’t have a great experience due to the staff. Granted, this was a while ago. This patient’s profile is a bit complicated because they later turned out to have Parkinson’s. The treatment-resistant depression may have been the prodromal stage of the disease.
I hear great things about the Georgetown program. A friend with a personality disorder and treatment-resistant depression and another friend with bipolar felt the program gave them a lot of help with getting stabilized.
