Does the club get some money back, sure, but they use it to buy gear for their coaches and staff (who are not making a ton of money) and equipment (cones, goals and whatnot) that your child uses at practice. Don't want to pay for a uniform? Play Rec

Alexandria Futsal (capelli too) was the absolute worst. Then, you'd buy all the crap---it would show up 5 weeks late and then they would decide the team would just wear the regular Alexandria club jerseys since not everyone had the futsal uniform. We literally have unused futsal uniforms..and then they would have a subtle change to the jersey and want everyone to buy a new one again.

I got so sick of buying different versions of the same uniforms. Have a ton of practice Ts for every club too. I do donate the ones that are outgrown by my kids--but if one kid can still fit in some of these uniforms--I wait.

But the damn backpacks...no I'm done. What a waste of $ and fabric. My older son just started using a generic backpack (non-club logo black) u17-u19

A high quality backpack, home/away kit, and a dual purpose rain/warmup jacket would be my ideal and then optional nonsense.
