Um without a tunnel? Just a station?

It's like a 7 min walk from Waterfront metro station to the Wharf. Why would the Wharf need a station? Such a silly question.

It can be sketchy enough there. They don’t need metro. Same reason they didn’t put one in Georgetown.

Phillips Seafood Restaurant, H2 O. Those are what I remember and I’m 43.

What? The waterfront station is a 5 minute walk. And yes, the Wharf did t exist back then.

Couple of restaurants and the seafood barges, plus a smaller Arena Stage across the street, but it was nowhere near as big a development as it is now.

Go research the tumultuous history of planning and funding the Green Line. Then think about what was there on the 1970s. A fish market, marina and massive tourist restaurants served by buses. Why would a station between L’Enfant and Waterfront (2 minutes apart) have been needed or sensible?

It boggles my mind how much people can't stand to walk for ten minutes.

American drivers are the laziest people on earth.

Why can't you just walk? It really isnt' that far. I used to work at 1100 4th Street SW and walk to the Wharf everyday.

Just walk. This is exactly why you are extra fluffy and not sexy anymore.
