BMI ranges are just supposed to be an indicator of health and doesn't work for everyone. Sounds like it doesn't really work for you personally. Also, if you're east Asian, you should consider using the Japanese BMI scale, which puts people at overweight earlier due to their research for when their population tends to suffer from obesity related conditions.
