You could call and try to request a female tester. But yes, if she can't handle that kind of anxiety then she's not ready.

To be fair, there's nothing in the title or the OP that says the child has a disability. So anyone who sees this from recent topics would have no idea that she's not totally typical. Even the OP's follow ups don't say that she has a disability -- getting nervous in a driver's test is not a disability.

She clearly doesn't have more resilience than everyone on this board. I have over a dozen learning disabilities, got left back in HS and barely graduated, and even I passed my written test and driving test the first time each. I had an older, strange lady in my car for my driving test, but you know what? Every kid approaching their road test KNOWS that's how it works - a stranger from the DMV spends their days hopping into cars with brand new wannabe drivers. SHE IS NOT READY if she can't deal with it.

Go pick up random bums and take them to get food. Get her used to having random old men in the car with her.
