So much antisocial behavior these days. Don’t talk to ride share drivers, don’t talk to neighbors, don’t interact with anyone in public. Hardly good modeling for our children.
I don't engage with stupidity. Unfoturnately most people are rude, stupid and love drama. It isn't antisocial behavior. It is a complete lack of social norms that make it difficult to engage with others.

I wish I had known a year or so ago when I took an Uber from my house to a friend's party in the farest flung part of NW DC and the female driver talked the entire time, including details of one her children getting killed in a gang dispute. I was (and am) deeply sympatetic to anyone losing a child, and told her as much, but it was inappropriate for an Uber ride. Now I know to choose the no conversation option on Uber.
She can't afford therapy. She needed to talk. Be kind.

What does her gender have to do with anything?
