Usually it is 4 weeks per year for severance at VP or SVP level. S

Take the new job with a smile and look for something else. It’s much harder to find a job when you’re unemployed.

At my company, if you turn down a comparable internal role, you are ineligible for a severance package. You better make sure that’s not the case.
