I had the same thought. That was a much more flattering dress! Though it also reminds me of how often it was worn by actresses to events and how weird that seems now-- fashion and Hollywood is way more adventurous now. This a great dress but its hard to imagine dozens of Hollywood actresses wearing the same fitted sheath all the time. It's so boring.

But this dress makes more sense as a uniform for women in politics. I think it made frequent appearances on Veep

I bought a dress for my son’s graduation from Tuckernuck—not this one !!

Mine was very flattering, one shoulder maxi and I received loads of compliments.

I always saw this dress on their website and never thought it was a flattering cut or style. It’s way too boxy. Matronly.

They have done pretty dresses, but there are many things that are also kind of frumpy.

You have to be selective.
