Trump is doing surprisingly well (surprising, if you’re a progressive) among Latinos who are native born or naturalized US citizens. It’s not a surprise to Trump supporters, of course. But progressives stammer in disbelief when see polls that show the Latino vote at 50/50. Just like the rest of the country. Progressives can’t seem to wrap their heads around the notion that Latino people are just like anyone else.
Whites whiteknighting for minorities who tow the MAGA line are so funny
One day maybe people like you will stop treating brown and black people like pets - poor stupid creatures who can’t think for themselves and need the gentle guidance and management of a caring white liberal. But I doubt it. It’s too ingrained in you.
This coming from the person who probably says, "Ohh you're one of the good ones." Whenever you encounter one of them who aligns with your beliefs.

Amazing how much they hate themselves smh. Hope they confron their internal racism
This arrogant and pretentious mindset about minority groups held by progressive Dems is exactly why Trump will (likely) win the election this year. Almost half of Hispanic voters are third generation or later immigrants and more than 80% of Hispanic voters were were born in the US. It is not racist for people to have a different opinion than you and lecturing minority groups about their “racist beliefs” is a good way to lose voters. Many people see themselves as American first and a don’t believe that race or ethnicity is a characteristic that defines their identity or life outcomes. Treat people as individuals rather than stereotyping or insulting them when they have a different opinion.
You're dumb and a Trumper, so your opinion is invalid
I’m not a Trumper and I have never voted for him, but you are still proving my point. This attitude that anyone who views things differently is an idiot is not a winning election strategy. I don’t want him to win but the swing state polls indicate that Trump is very likely to win the election. Yes, the polls are not perfect, but they look very unfavorable for Dems this year. Vegas district is only 45% non Hispanic white, but she won 55% of the vote in 2023. She cannot win without meaningful support from minority voters that are more politically conservative. Dems cannot win national elections if they alienate socially conservative Black and Hispanic voters with very progressive messaging.
I've been reading stuff like this on DCUM before every election since 2017. And then the elections happen, and it's wrong, again.
Alright, so why did Youngkin win the election in Virginia if this is statement is 100% false. Biden won the state by 10 points in 2020, but a Republican candidate won by 2 points in 2021. That is a 12 point swing. IMO, Dems lost this election due to ineffective (progressive) messaging about education that was off putting to some voters. Part of this is attributable lower voter turnout, but the 2-3 points that caused dems to lose this election is the “parents shouldn’t tell schools what to teach” gaffe. Most people think parents should have input over their children’s education. He should have phrased this differently to emphasize that parents have a role in their kids education, but banning books in school libraries is completely unAmerican and it violates the founding principles of our country.
Because he was able to falsely represent himself as just a nice dad in a red vest. How has that been going for him?
If you think Terry McAuliffe is a progressive, I don't know what to say.

the main issue is she was a disaster of a candidate—show show far the NRA has fallen if they hired her!
She was such a bad candidate. Showing her ass off to make the white magas feel comfortable about their racist beleifs.
