It would require both houses of the Congress to move forward. If people care about this, they need to vote.
News flash - congressional action is still reviewable by the courts. They are under no obligation to play along.

100 percent against both term limits and an ethics code. We want our judges insulated from politics and unafraid to make unpopular yet proper judgments. The only thing I might get behind is an age limit, like age 86 or so. As for ethics regulations, nothing wrong with one designed and enforced by the courts but otherwise it’s an institution into our system of checks and balances and sure to be used unevenly and against justices with less popular opinions.

I can’t imagine why anyone would have an issue with ethics reform.
In terms of the age/term limits, assuming something like age 70 was selected, it would leave 3 consecutive and 1 liberal judge. If Trump were to win, that’s a landslide for him. If Biden was to win, if only ends on being, at best, a 4-3 court.
I would like to see legislation that also requires Congress to act on all nominations (of every type- agency, judicial or military) within a strict timeframe.

Liberals are made that the supreme court has been bought by billionaires and abandoned their "settled law" and even conservative doctrine to determine that a president is above the law and that the federal government can no longer write and enforce rules that protect the public so as to have clean air, clean water and safe working conditions.
