A former MVA teacher still hoping to find something that lets you work from home?
You are gross
There's at least a couple teachers that threatened to quit, but there's no sign they went through with it.
You have no idea why they threatened to quit but you automatically assume it's because they want to work from home in their pajamas. Get a life.
They've been pretty clear that's what they want. They're explicitly looking for WFH jobs.
And you have no idea why they may wish to work from home. Just like millions of other remote employees in the country. Try and keep up. It’s 2024z
Then they should quit and get different jobs, rather than continuing to try to make schools worse for their own convenience.
What they do next is none of your business. Why are you so obsessed with people who have absolutely nothing to do with you? It's bizarre.
Agreed, but what they're doing, and attempting to do, within MCPS is my business.

If you get a job in a private school, there'll be no consequence to you. States aren't going after people's licenses anymore. If you wish to return to your current district later, there's a remote chance it could hurt you. But again, like others have said, with the teacher shortage, it might not.
