Three days in a row of temps over 100 - tied a record from 1930 (were readings even accurate back then??). Looks like today won't quite get to 100 but will still be hot. What a summer. As someone who works outside, this has been rough.

Climate change is real guys. Îve measure change in seasonal weather for the DC region for work, and yes the trend absolutely is one of warming. This chart is old (all I could readily find online); more recent patterns definitely hold or possibly even accelerate the trend

My personal observation is the last month has been awful. DH and I have started to make plans for when we’re empty nesters that involve fleeing this swamp, at least in summers.
