My dog didn't see it, but he was going crazy sniffing around that area and trying to get his nose under the shed in the exact spot the groundhog ran into. He knew something had been there. I don't want to hurt it but i want it gone. What kind of repellent would you suggest that won't harm my dog?
you are lucky the groundhog didn't attack your dog.
I once accidentally ran over a groundhog with my car. I looked in my rear view mirror, and the thing got up and ran off. Those things are tough to kill.

If stupidity and ignorance are all that you can contribute, then remain silent.

They eat grass and may go after a vegetable garden so use fencing and netting on your garden, but otherwise leave it be. If you try to call authorities about it, they will probably laugh at you.
Not true. Groundhogs dig tunnels under house and can cause damage to foundation.

If this is the case, there are many natural repellents that can easily convince them to move along. I believe the stories of groundhog attacks have been greatly exaggerated. They will not eat your children.
Groundhogs are nocturnal and seeing one in daylight is certainly a good possibility that it could have rabies. Your stupid is catching so don't infect your children!
