DC has the highest bond ratings in the country. The AAA+ is the envy of every mayor and governor across the land. How dare you say the city cannot look after itself.

Crime is way down, quality of life is strong, restaurants and bars are doing well, only the commercial real estate remains a challenge.

Nearly every municipality around DC also has a AAA+ bond rating. And they managed to achieve it without a thousand carjackings and almost 300 murders last year.

I am not Republican, but I like this. Very good idea.

+1. The current mayor and council have painted themselves into a corner on crime. Everyone knows what needs to be done but they are paralyzed by the politics. Trump can save us and we’ll all be secretly grateful.

I mean, they are likely coming from lower cost of living areas and won't be able to buy or rent in DC or the close in suburbs, they won;t want to take the metro in and they sure as heck won;t want to live amongst people who don't look at talk like them.

It’s kinda hilarious, because even though you don’t actually know any Trump supporters, you think you’ve got a pretty good handle on them just from hearing the stereotypes in your echo chamber.

Trump can replace the USAO with someone....who will ignore the Court of Appeals rulings and keep bringing cases? *shrug*

All democrats.

No, not really.

More gaslighting, as usual.

All propped up the federal government and military bases.

Unfortunately, anybody, including stupid Trump, can do a better job in DC than Bowser and the DC Council.

I just want to know how those dysfunctional jokers on the Hill believe they actually can do anything practical on the level of municipal services.
