The opening scene where Finlay wraps duct tape around her kid's head? Constant sniping between Finlay and her ex? SO FUNNY!

I loathed that first book.

Anonymous wrote:It’s a thriller but I’m loving Ruth Ware’s latest- “the perfect couple” and Lucy Foley’s midnight feast. Perfect couple is about a couples reality show that does very wrong on a deserted island. Characters are fun and it’s a page turner.

Not a particularly “beachy” read, but I just read First Lie Wins while at the beach and enjoyed it.

I LOVE Abby Jimenez. My favorite. I usually like Ali Hazelwood but her newest book “Not in Love” was not good. Recommend on of the earlier ones.
