While Biden may be slowing down, even if you say cognitive decline, so is Trump, layered on top of that with a personality disorder, obesity, racism, and misogyny. At this point, we’re all voting for the people around them, and I’ll still take Biden — though I’d rather have a different nominee at this point because I just don’t want another close election.

Biden will drop out. All that is happening now is a negotiation of the terms of surrender. Central problem for the Dems is they have been stomping on the Bernie wing of the party pretty hard over the past three election cycles and that can’t go on forever. At some point inevitably it all has to be allowed to burn down and start over. Happened with the Republicans in 2016 with Trump and somehow he won.
