The Pacific Northwest and the northeast. We plan to be snowbirds in retirement.

Most of the places that are known for 'no humidity' have searing heat. Not just warm, HOT. And altitude issues to go along. AZ, NM, CO, etc. I'd avoid those. I'm miserable whenever I have to go to those states.

Places with reasonable temps and reasonable humidity (not so dry as to create constant fire hazard and headaches): Oregon, some parts of Washington state, Idaho, Montana (more extreme winter temps in most of Montana if that is an issue). Maybe some parts of Nevada, but it borders on the heat/altitude limit for me.

I would retire to Summit County or Pitkin County Colorado if I had the means.

Probably Mars at the rate we are going.

I mean you can avoid humidity at a cost. There’s wildfires and heat out west. Floods south. Hurricanes South and Eastern shores. That leaves Midwest so I don’t know Minneapolis? LOL

But you know the cold isn’t pretty with negative windchills which the MW still have in winter.

There’s no perfect place even though yeah you can avoid humidity I guess. But you’ll have other problems too!

I'm with you OP the humidity really aggravates my arthritis. The summers here are getting unmanageable for me as I age.
