I tip $3-5 depending on length of ride.

You can’t go wrong with a 20% tip.

I am grateful for the service. I tip $3-$7 in app for a short ride. Mostly short rides.

You do realize, though, that the price you're paying their employer has built into it the idea that you'll also probably tip? If wages were high enough that drivers didn't expect (or need) tips on top of them, the rides would cost you more.

I always tip at least $2 or 20 percent, whichever is higher (usually just pick one of the preoffered options in the app), and I only give 5-star ratings. Drivers basically can't get any fares if their score is below like a 4.9. I have yet to have a conversation in an Uber that's been unpleasant enough that I think the driver ought to lose their job over it, no matter how annoying they can be.

If you tip 15 bucks on a 6 dollar Uber, you’re just throwing money away. What a joke.

I do not regularly tip uber drivers.
