Love them- I pack clothes fairly tightly into a cube and they don't get as wrinkled. I organize mine by:
-pajamas and swim stuff
-underwear, socks, jog bras
-athletic wear
-clothing (folded nicely and packed snug so they don't wrinkle)
Like someone mentioned- easy to toss them into the hotel dresser. They keep things neat and organized.

For a longer vacation where you are going from city to city every couple of days they can be great because they keep things organized. If you have a wheeled duffel, they are terrific. But if I’m in a place for 3+ days I unpack and put things away.

I’m another lover of them. I her. Some that are compression design (two zippers around them so you can slide the clothes in and then squish them down by zipping the second zipper tighter. Some are just the plain kind but still help with organizing and finding things way easier.

Agree it’s mainly useful for little bit longer trips and when we are moving hotels during the trip, or if I need to squish to get stuff to fit in a bag. Don’t use them for just a normal short weekend carryon trip.

I like the cubes but this is a good point. When I bought mine I chose the sizes very carefully so that the variety would suit my needs.

that seems like a lot of cubes/person? wouldn't a list do th esame thing?

I use zip lock bags with sliders.

Yes they are great for multileg trips. We did a long trip in Europe last summer and packed separate cubes for the city and country destinations so we didn't even have to open things for the other half of the trip and then it was easy to pack dirty items back in cubes and keep them separate from everything else. So easy.

I find them essential to family travel. Everyone has their own color of cubes and they fit perfectly in our luggage. It keeps anyone from over packing but also makes it impossible to forget essentials (cube for sicks and underwear, spare shoes,toiletries, everything labeled). Also super easy to pack a carry on with a change of clothes and basics for everyone and put everything else in checked baggage and it helps with red eyes or if luggage gets lost.

Love them. Really great for kids - they pack their own cubes (I check to make sure they have everything) and then they can keep all their stuff together and tidy.
When we are in hotels or wherever, it makes it so easy to pack/unpack as often there is not good storage space in rooms and can just keep clothes in their cubes and organized. No more rummaging around in suitcases to find things.

I just use plastic bags. On trips where I'm sharing a suitcase with a kid, or where my kids are sharing a suitcase, it's helpful to hand each one, say, their swim suit/goggles/cover up bag and everyone go get changed for the pool. This is especially helpful at like our family lake cottage where they may scatter to different bathrooms to get changed for an activity.
