OP here. I guess this is why it does absolutely nothing for me. I don't enjoy having my boundaries pushed, especially in a negative or demeaning way. I prefer having them respected, so I feel safe to expand them on my own terms.

I did see it work once it real life but it was a mix of rudeness with over the top flirting. I was very surprised by it all.
