(Psst, I’m not doing it to look 18 or for you—you being the poster hell bent on telling every woman on DCUM that she is too old, too fat, or too greedy to deserve love.)

I’m not quite which poster you reference. But I’m anti all those procedures for the opposite reason - your natural face is beautiful and you deserve to be loved as you are.

I started when I was 45 and have gotten them regularly done for 5 years now. Always been happy with the results! They are subtle and have always looked natural

You are so wrong. Women can be beautiful at any age and as a 60-year-old woman, it is very nice to get compliments every once in a while!

I think she did a little under one syringe? The crazy duck lips you see are a lot more than that, generally.

Correct, if you do 1 syringe (a little more or less depending on the natural state of your lips) it generally looks natural. More than that all at once is getting into the danger zone of looking overfilled or getting the “filler mustache” look when it migrates above your upper lip. The least amount you can use, the better it will be.

I'm 52 and get it. for me it lasts about 16 months. i get it done at moksha and they use a dental block so it doesn't hurt, but i am numb for 2-3 hours.

Win what? I'm not trying to look like the youngest hottest person in the room. I am trying to look like the best version of myself.

I don't get fillers (or botox), that said. I'm 51. Still look 25 of course. (jkjk - I look 40)

Google "lip filler fails" images and then decide.

I don’t know about this - women in their 50s and 60s are still working, maybe still interviewing for jobs, and society doesn’t judge an aging woman kindly.

They can look very subtle and natural but hurt like no other. 10x worse than botox.
