She is a former AG of the largest state in the country and a former senator. She is absolutely presidential material, certainly as much as any other Vice President since GHWBush.
I’m 29 year old woman of color (South Asian heritage), a Democrat, I do not care for her. I think she’s a lightweight who was very obviously chosen because of identity politics and not because she’s a substantively good VP. I would have far preferred Klobuchar or Whitmer.

As well as Mike Johnson is 2 heartbeats away from the presidency.
Think about your choices.

Sorry. Too late. Democrats are stuck with Kamala. He promised a woman of color and that was the criteria for the choice.

No one wants the job.
This. VP is a super fake job. You’re on the advising table with the Prez but he can decide whether to rope you in or not. On the off chance the main dude croaks and you gotta step up.
More often than not, the VP is helpful to be at places that the Prez can’t be (eg a fundraiser etc)

You pick a VP who will 1-Help you get elected and 2-Do a decent job if called upon to be the President.
What in the hell is so hard about this that the last two have been such total failures?
The last great VP was Joe Biden.

Apparently, not even Obama wanted to endorse Biden even though he was the "last great VP'.![]()
Honest to God, he's dumb as a rock. Graduated 76th in a class of 85 law students from SUNY.
Biden didn't even want to kill Bin Laden when given the chance.
Yes, what's so hard about picking a great VP? You tell me.
