I’m such a sucker for doing things like this with my kid, so I say worth it. I prefer going later at night when it’s quieter.

Our kids loved it. I rolled my eyes at the price, but we spent hours in the exhibit and going all the way up. My son also likes Percy Jackson (and tall buildings)

We went earlier this year and the kids enjoyed it. It's expensive, but you're paying for both the experience (an hour or so) and the memories, so I think it's worth doing it once.

Maybe Empire Star Building wasn’t impressive because there are so many super tall skyscrapers in NYC? I you plopped Empire State Building down in DC, it might impress more?

I personally prefer the Edge at Hudson Yards.
