It’s hard to believe you didn’t know traffic in Tysons is always horrible during rush hour. It’s been like that even before they built everything up.

That would take even longer. I work near where I live so that I'm not sitting on 495 in a hellish commute, been there done that for decades of my youth.

Why should I have to sacrifice my 15 minute commute and turn it into a 35 minute commute for one company that didn't plan their office better?

I already go to work on Mondays and Fridays just to avoid the traffic they created Tu-Th, because it seems way less of them drive in on those days. Id like to WFH M/F too!

Tyson has never not been a total cluster. Minus like the 80s maybe….We always factor in 30 to 45 minutes to get through it. Pretty sure that’s why the toll road exists.

Are you new to the area, OP? Tysons is just slowly returning to pre-Covid traffic. It was a nightmare then, we got a nice break during Covid, but now everyone is back to work. You're also dealing with a bunch of Feds trying out new ways to get to their DC and/or suburban offices.

My sister experiences this leaving her parking garage after work in Lancaster PA. Adds 15 min. to her commute. Workers have been going to their offices since 2021. Not just a Tysons issue.

Recently sat in bumper to bumper traffic at that same location. Was trying to get to Wegmans. Come to find out there was some daytime event at the new venue there. Guess it happens often cause when I asked the parking attendant about the gridlock they just rolled their eyes.

OK it's been 6 months. Why doesn't someone complain to DOT or county or light timers or whatever? Complaining here doesn't help.
