It's always been a game where bullies get a free for all to just rail on their preferred weaker targets.

There are other games that don't give bullies free license to be jerks. Kickball is much more fun, for one.

In MCPS there are very few adults supervising recess (maybe 2 per 100 kids). This means they need to limit "dangerous" activities.

A few years ago during the first month of school, we had a broken arm, two dislocated collarbones, and a cut that needed stitches. We had to cut down on what they’re doing at recess drastically. Do you think the parents were mad at the kids for roughhousing or do you think they were mad at the teachers? Thus those “sissy children.”
