Do you know what the raw score was that translated to the A?

She has borderline B's for both quarters and a low grade on this ridiculous, meaningless test will tip her. I hope MCPS parents push back on this policy. It's insane.
Here's the chart that shows how quarter+MISA grades will be averaged. If your kid has B's in both quarters, she'd have to get an E on the test to get a C in the semester; otherwise, she'll get a B as final semester grade no matter what.

My DS saw his score and corresponding grade today so it seems at least some schools have this information and are sharing results with students.

It wasn't well publicized, but I saw it (perhaps on DCUM!).
The open question right now is what an "A" is on the MISA. (In prior years, there was no letter grade assigned.)
Here is what was shared on the other MISA thread on DCUM in terms of last year's scores.
For the state of MD,
Level 4 (Distinguished): 4% - cutoff 772/850
Level 3 (Proficient): 30% - cutoff 750/850
Level 2 (Developing): 41% - cutoff 731/850
Level 1 (Beginning): 25% - cutoff 650/850
Average score:
Statewide: 742 (Level 2)
MCPSwide: 745 (Level 2)

That doesn’t tell us how you get an A in the test. If an A is the same as a 4 then very few kids will get them.

My kid isn't taking a class that requires the EOC exam to count as 20% this year, but will likely have one next year... has there been no explanations to students/parents affected THIS YEAR on how this will work? I can't find anything, and earlier I had assumed those affected were getting the info, but I'm worried that is just not the case now!
