Actually, I look at it quite differently.
The dude gets medical treatment, recovers, and realizes that progressivism is the road to destruction.
I guess you can say he has "seen the light."

It’s bizarre that so many people just go along like zombies with the current insanity of foreign interference in U.S. politics, but only insofar as it’s just one country.
Some idiotic protestors showed up to his house in the middle of the night while his kids were sleeping, blaring lights & sirens. He trolled the protestors by waving an Israeli flag at them.

Come on, he knows the Art of the Troll. That's how you do it.

So PA elected a troll to legislate on their behalf? Sounds look a poor job and skills fit.

NP. Wow, Jeff. You think this is okay? Really?
I don't know why everyone is so bothered. It's not like Fetterman himself is the model of sensitivity. He absolutely campaigned as a progressive. Now he denies it and expects us to ignore what we saw with our own eyes. Throughout the campaign he practically bragged that his wife had originally been an undocumented immigrant. She was his biggest asset and practically carried on the campaign single-handily while he was hospitalized. Now he sides with the Republicans on immigration. She has essentially disappeared from Twitter and other social media.
The idea that he had no idea what position progressives hold until recently is ludicrous. He campaigned along with them.
I guess you can go along with the poster above and simply write him off as another cynical politician who sells himself to the highest bidder. I think I am actually doing him a favor by attributing the changes to his medical condition.
