Exactly. This seems almost troll like in asking the question. You had a much better response than my snarky one that I was going to respond with.
OP here. race isnt nonsense. thanks to those who took this serious for the rest of you, you'd never say the same if I asked for LGBT friendly LAX teams. your prejudice is apparent and hence the need for more diverse team
So the answer to any type of racism or bias isn't segregation. So not sure what your point is.
It's not segregation to ask for a team that specifically understand recruiting for AA boys. Do you think recruiting is the same for everybody?
There is exactly one HBCU playing DI Lacrosse (who knows if they offer scholarships). So your point is moot because recruiting for HBCU type lacrosse is basically non-existent. You don't think clubs don't know how to assist black lacrosse players in getting recruited. My point stands.
So u think AA lax players are only interested in 1 college?
that's my point. Regardless of what a black lacrosse player is thinking to go to school, all the options outside of one are just regular colleges. Most colleges have had top end black lacrosse players on their roster - guys like Harrison, Myles Jones, the Bratton Twins and John Christmas at UVA to name a few. I wish it was more but it isn't. This person is looking for a fight for no other reason than wanting to place some emphasis on finding some mythical "diverse" program.

OP here not a troll and the fact that a black person is looking for diversity in a almost exclusively white sport is trolling is amazing and shows how little people in this area really care about diversity

While none of the teams in the area are very diverse and my experience with this is about 4 years old, my son's AA friends joined a national team I think it was called Nations United and Showcased with them.
So they played on a local club, HS and the Nations United showcase team.
Op here, thanks for the suggestion!

Anonymous wrote:Ok to give the OP the benefit of the doubt, you should check out Clippers lacrosse and the parent 1812 LLC founded by Kyle Harrison. I think you used the incorrect term. While I think the notion of an AA lacrosse team is not inclusive or diverse, a team founded by an AA player who actively seeks to attract more AA players to the game is a wonderful thing for the sport and worthy of your support.
