What about for those of us men who don't consume alcohol 😔....I already feel left out because everything with my friends has to involve alcohol....it's one of the reason I'm divorced today DW wanted to drink every weekend and I just wanted to do something not involving alcohol.. I hope when I am ready to date again women won't find me weird for not indulging in any alcohol at all.

I rarely drink and would be fine dating someone who didn't drink at all. I know it wouldn't work for some people, but I'd never date someone who smoked no matter how otherwise compatible they were with me, so we all have our rules. Someone who wouldn't date you because you don't drink just isn't a good match for you, and that's ok.
Ridiculous rules.

Imo the second date is really the first “date.”
