Do you have the sherling ones? I'm wondering how they compare to the LL Bean Wicked Good, which I like but aren't great for arch support.

I'm jealous of all you that can wear open slippers in the house. My circulation is so bad that I can't wear anything open-toed unless the temp is at least mid-80s, and my husband won't let me keep the house that wrong. I'm sitting here in sneakers with the thermostat at 76 and my toes feel like ice. The doctors say it's "normal"!

I got my daughter the TEVA slippers for walking the dog, but I can't really wear them -- they don't have much arch support.

For PF you should focus on stretching you calves, hamstrings, quads and glutens. Skip wearing slippers around the house in the summer and focus on strengthening you feet and ankles. I get a pedi every 3 weeks and wear Havaianas as needed to pop outside.

I have Haflinger wool clogs and I wear them year round. I think the wool feels warm in winter and cool in summer.

I’ll add..I’m a 43 yr old runner w plantar fasciitis and the hoka slides are my only relief. Recommended by my foot/ankle surgeon and everyone I’ve recommended them to has also loved them.

OP requested "easy on the eyes." These things are hideous.

Oofos are hideous too. OP will eventually discover that you can’t have both “easy on the eyes” and proper orthopedic support for arthritic feet with plantar fasciitis. It just doesn’t exist. OP is also asking for house slippers so I’d think function would take precedence over fashion.

Every person I know who has these (myself included) agree the hoka slides are hideous and yet, we all wear them exclusively at home bc they work. My kids, dog and spouse still love me. YMMV

Oofos are like heaven for me. It's hard to wear real shoes when I walk out the door anymore.

I've been wearing Vionics inside. I have Oofos, but they make my heel feel worse. You may need to try different pairs.
