Why do so many on here not like BP? VDA parent here, my DC loves BP and all the others. Maybe your kid just didn't get picked.

It will be a flash in the pan. BP will squeeze these girls so strongly they will have many serious injuries. One and done. He will then move on and destroy somewhere else. Your DD will get a USYNT experience to remember in the process...or at least one or two players will. Crash and burn VDA, the cliff is on the horizon.

Lol. When NVA announced that they would become NVA, Mark Ryan said that it was to improve in National Competitions. Who cares if they win Mid Atlantic. If they can't compete on a National Level the girls won't be recruited. 0-3 in an event that didn't include the #1 team in the country for 2009's is unimpressive. Maybe Loudoun Soccer aka NVA should reevaluate how they select and train players. Kick and run doesn't work.

Mark Ryan and PL know what they are doing. Trust the process

Mark Ryan. Northern Virginia soccer‘s greatest grifter.

Competing on a national level has nothing, nothing to do with being recruited. Players from non competitive ECNL teams do in fact get recruited all the time including the big P4 schools. Don’t know how many times it needs to be stated coaches watch players not teams. They probably dont stay for the entire game and have no idea or care which team wins

It’s ECNL. Grandpa’s league.

Union lost to a team with a much lower ranking than them. That's embarrassing.

MR is back trolling again. Our club is the best and our kids here get recruited whether they win National events or not.

Tell me you’ve never been to a college showcase without telling me you’ve never been to a college showcase. Clearly the original poster either has a young player so has no idea what these showcases are about or the OP’s kid didn’t make an ECNL team.

Bethesda 09s has struggled all year. Not surprised at this weekend’s scores.

The Union didn't do well as stated above. They played three teams. Racing Louisville with a National Ranking of 191. FC Alliance with a National Ranking of 275. Indy 11 with a National Ranking of 111. Virginia Union has a National Ranking of 71! All three teams they played are weak National Teams. Nothing to brag about.

Union did well like they did in Jefferson cup. They are playing weaker teams. The best national teams weren't even at this event so our team can't say it did well.]
