I had a foster child about 10 years ago who was neglected by drug addicted mother. I had to take her at 2 years old to a daycare 3 days a week. It was required by the state. You want to see neglected kids just look around. It’s low income, middle in income and high income kids and it’s sad. It’s not about rich or poor.
That sounds fake. Around here day care is not a requirement except if foster parents are working.
Are you a foster parent? this is not true (and it's age dependent).
For the OP, depending on your kid - I'd get an evaluation. It could be normal kid behavior or sometimes things like this could be a sign of abuse. I'm not suggesting it's anything, but it might give you peace of mind.
