Yeah I’ve talked about this in the 2024 House thread, my sister lives in this district. I predict he and Cori Bush are both going to lose their primaries.
I consider myself progressive and I’m hoping he and Cori lose. I would have liked to see Talib gone. I think AOC has a good approach to making progress. She’s not a burn it all
Down or “it’s a revolution”
Sanders approach.
You are most definitely NOT a progressive. The appropriate label for you is centrist. You would be more likely vote for Nikki Haley than a member of the squad if they ran for President.
Oh please! Nikki who carries water for Trump? I was a Warren fan. AOC is a pragmatist, she understands how to make progress and picks her battles carefully. Sanders is all bluster and makes horrible personnel choices.
Np- absolutely. I think Bush, Bowman and some of the other “squad” members are grifters. The left’s version is the MAGA grift.
Why do you think of AIPAC?

Bowman would have lost a primary in 2022 had there been rank choice voting.
Posted upthread. It's a terrible district, truly so. The suburban folks and the more urban folks are not served by this district, or as well as they should be.
I'm not as sour on Bowman as many are, but I can't imagine him winning this district unless he has a turnout machine to beat all other machines.

How are they "grifters"?
I don’t know about Bowman but there’s this about Bush.
