Hi, it's OP. The school will not give this student any graduation tickets. He is independent, without parent support. Nobody at the school will respond to a request to waive the debt, which he doesn't have the money to pay at the moment. I'm very surprised how unhelpful the school administration has been.

Has he spoken with the parent liaison or equivalent?
Do you mean PTA? No. I can try to contact them. I don’t understand how there is no county wide written policy.

Yes they were! DS' elementary school billed us at year end for writing in four of the the Highlights booklets during K...and made a huge deal about it following him.
