Even 100% wouldn’t cover everything students and teachers need. Council is not the enemy here, it’s the bloat of contractual services and positions like the ones McKnight created in Central Office sucking up money from schools.

Yes. It’s outlined in the contract the steps on how they approach RIF. Not related to any content taught.

I can’t imagine they will actually end up rifing. They will have enough voluntary resignations and retirements to cover. People will get shuffled though, which will lead to more resignations. So even if they put people on a layoff list, my bet is they will recall them once the involuntary transfers resign.
