This is pretty messed up. To pay that kind of money and have to find an urgent care center at a hostpital---and not be able to get mental health care at all. Seems like Smith is failing its most basic responsibility of care.


No one said they had to go to urgent care. Read more carefully.

Well, actually my I.Q is five standard deviations above normal, so I gues I am a genius. But why is OP wasting our time here? We can do nothing? We don't care enough to do anything. She needs to contact the president and board of Smith if she wants to curtail a firing or effect change. How is that difficult for you to understand?

That was not something I thought about when my kids were applying but I have to say DD was able to use Cornell health several times during her 4 years there. It was always just a 10$ co pay and very convenient. These were not big issues...
