For U11 (2013) Bethesda is in my opinion slightly better than SYC, but they're close. No other 2013 in the area comes close, unless you want to drive all the way to Coppermine.

DS got offers at every team he tried out for (including two of the clubs you mentioned) but we’re staying with PPA. Didn’t get the best vibe from the teams or coaches and have spoken to some parents as well. We’re not looking to push DS too hard or too fast at this age and PPA (at least our current coach and team) strikes the right balance between training and fun. Burnout and overuse injuries are real, and some parents aren’t thinking about that, nor are some of the super competitive clubs. Definitely felt like some of these other clubs were focused on wins and improvement at all costs. At this age, we just want him enjoying the game and training in a supportive environment. Not getting yelled at or run into the ground. The admin at PPA is a mess, but we’ll deal with it for now. Hope we have a good experience next year.
