Our neighbors have college flags and sports team flags in their garage. Not sure why, I guess it's some place to display them.

Post like this are stupid. You barely describe the flag. IT could be anything. If you are walking to see these inside of peoples garages, then you can walk up to people and ask what the flag means in a nice friendly way out of curiosity. We obviously can not help you.

Because men like to hang silly stuff in the one place their wives will allow it. Like others have said they’re probably college, sports, or military flags.

Maybe their old military bases or squadrons. Military guys have a million bits of memorabilia so it often ends up decorating the garage.
