Even our pool snack bar/front gate doesn’t employ kids unless they’ve completed a year of high school (most are 15) and we still have many more applicants than we have jobs to give. Other 14 year olds I know have gotten jobs reffing/umpiring games (though mostly in spring/fall) and working at pumpkin patch type places (again, mostly in fall). Camps might be your best bet

My swim club hires 14.5 years olds for the Snack Bar. It's only open like 2 to 7. GUards have to be older. If you belong to a pool club ask there.

For what jobs? Checkin at front or custodial?

New poster here
But it looks like "Park attendant" (custodial) is the only position they will hire at age 14. Lifeguards must be 15 and they already have enough cashiers

Really? The camp where my son is a CIT (he is only 14) keeps sending out emails that they are desperately seeking counselors (must be at least 16). Or are you just referencing non-camp jobs?

What camp? My 16 yo is still looking for a summer job...

It is run by Pros to You Tennis, there are several locations. I would imagine some tennis ability is preferred, although it did not say required (my son plays).
