I guess scenery includes any beautiful island in the Caribbeans (St. Lucia/St. Barts/Anguilla - my faves) or Mexico (Rosewood). But I mean any beautiful stretch of water/beach would help even in FL.

Personally, ambiance wise I love N CA - Big Sur/Carmel by the Sea. You can find a lot of romantic places up that way!

Is it scenery and ambiance you are after? If so - N CA is it for you!

If that is our true goal. We just get a suite at nice hotel locally. Makes it easier to bring appropriate accessories.

A kid free long weekend to NYC, Philly or Boston- there's something about staying in an elegant hotel, getting dressed up and going to nice dinners that does it for me.
