What about the inconsistencies in the layout of their house? The hallway that leads to the bedrooms is right next to the kitchen which has a door to the garage exiting in the same direction of that hallway.

It was obviously a joke that Blanche was in her 40s. She was at least mid 50s. And she had 2 kids, not 4 or 5.

Yes that was joke because Blanche couldn’t take aging and not being attractive.

My memory is that the actress looked much younger in real life but were dressed to look older particular Estelle Getty/Sophia.

That was really a great show.
