If you use Libby for ebooks (or audiobooks), you can filter by “what’s available” and sort by popularity. Lots of popular books from the last few years available from DCPL and MCPL.

Yes, I have to agree.
The movie’s script was basically verbatim of the actual book 📖 which is not usually the case when books ->> films.
I couldn't get through 50 pages of that book because the writing was so terrible.

I loved The Historian (by Totova); the Golum and the Jinni, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell and the Daevabad trilogy (Chakraborty)
I listen to many audiobooks and when I’m waiting for books in my cue I often listen to classics. Last year I listened to The Count of Monte Cristo and really liked it.

A couple of authors that I like and can usually find at the library are Curtis Sittenfeld and J. Courtney Sullivan.
