Dunno. He said he sees the baby enter the building with her an leave the building with her. She was his son’s teacher last year. Im pretty sure his son was at third grade at the time but might have been in fourth grade. Either way she was pregnant last year.

I just don't understand what it takes to oust her, as it's clear the problems are serious and have been well known for years. What more can be done to try to make the superintendent, school board, and whoever else aware of the facts and give them a sense of urgency about it?

Most of the families in the immediate neighborhood of the school send their children elsewhere.

When I had an infant sometimes I would bring him to school with me so my husband could get an extra half hour sleep and I didn’t have to pump in the first half of the day. He’d pick him up before my class came in. Other times he’d bring him after dismissal so he could go in to work. The baby probably isn’t there all day.

The first time I personally noticed that the principal is not what she seems was 2018. The first time I heard about how bad she was in 2017. Before that I raved about Oakridge too. The principal has always had the same issues (19:25 perfectly described the biggest ones), but the pandemic has made all those issues far more visible. Perhaps her leadership style exacerbated the problems we have seen in all schools during and post-pandemic. The anger/hostility/toxic work environment issues are going to be anecdotal, but you can look at more objective measures like test scores and see that those have been declining for many years.

Agree with all of this. I wish I had sent my kids to private school. We didn't have a problem with the principal for several years but when we did have a problem, *boy* did we have a problem. My kids hate the principal, and their feelings are based on things they have witnessed and experienced, not on things I have said. Many Oakridge kids feel the same way. I'm curious how many elementary kids hate their principal? That in of itself seems pretty bad.

Agree with PPs who say this cannot be true, but even if it were true it wouldn't bother me nearly as much as the principal. In fact it would make me reconsider my conviction that the principal is a sociopath (I'm not being hyperbolic).

The teachers mostly park behind the school this year, and the students' arrival time is much later than the teachers'. Likewise students leave for the day before teachers. I'm sure there are some exceptions for before/after care, but I question how often this parent has seen the same teacher coming and going.

I don't understand the negativity. My kids went to Oakridge under Dr. Wright and we all loved her! Both my kids had great experiences. A lot of current neighborhood kids going there now and the families really like it.

NP but appreciate the information here. We are trying to decide between a basic private school or Oakridge for our child next year and I'm finding it hard to picture how bad the environment would be at Oakridge.
